A 9cm square coaster featuring a print of my trio of British woodpeckers (great spotted woodpecker, green woodpecker and lesser spotted woodpecker) original coloured pencil drawing. The coasters have a glossy finish. Matching mugs are also available as well as other coaster designs.
I’m inspired by British wildlife, particularly animals and birds that I see here in South Wales. This woodpecker drawing was inspired by the great spotted and green woodpeckers I regularly see and hear on local walks. I also wanted to include the third UK woodpecker species, the lesser spotted woodpecker, which is now unfortunately rare and I haven’t seen one since my childhood.
