This fine art print is from my original coloured pencil drawing of a trio of British woodpeckers (green woodpecker, great spotted woodpecker, lesser spotted woodpecker) that has been professionally photographed to ensure an excellent colour match with the original. It is printed on textured fine art paper and comes mounted and framed ready for you to hang on your wall.
The framed print measures approximately 10 by 12 inches.
I’m inspired by British wildlife, particularly animals and birds that I see here in South Wales. This woodpecker drawing was inspired by the great spotted and green woodpeckers I regularly see and hear on local walks. I also wanted to include the third UK woodpecker species, the lesser spotted woodpecker, which is now unfortunately rare and I haven’t seen one since my childhood.
