This glass coaster has a fox design, taken from one of my original coloured pencil drawings. Each coaster is 10cm square and made of glass.
I’m inspired by British wildlife, particularly animals and birds that I see here in South Wales. I was inspired to draw a fox after I watched running across a field of cows who were taking absolutely no notice! The reference photo of this fox caught my eye due to the intense stare down to the ground. As I was drawing it I wondered what it was looking at – maybe some small prey or maybe it was as simple as a beetle scuttling around its feet.
