Recent portraits and pictures
I recently finished drawing this dahlia. Flowers are a new subject for me so this was a bit of an experiment but it is definitely a subject I will return to. I enjoyed drawing the smoothness of the petals - especially as I am normally aiming for textures so as fur and feathers. The bright colours also captured my attention.
